Pathways are quick and easy way of connecting people on the ground to your control rooms or specialised teams for two-way/multi-way consultations.

The required permissions are:
- Camera: This will be required to access your camera for the consultations.
- Mic: This will be required to access your microphone for the consultations.

The following is the step by step guide on how to add a pathway icon to your devices home screen for ease of use:

On an iPhone:

Please obtain the pathways unique link from your organisations admin, open safari and navigate to that url. Please then tap on the "Share" icon as highlighted below:

Please then tap on the "Add to Home Screen" button:

The pathway name should be automatically picked up, please tap on the "Add" button as highlighted below:

You should now have the pathway icon on your home screen:

When it comes to requesting a new consultation, please simply tap on the icon in the home screen, enter a reference (or leave blank) and tap on the create button. This would create a new consultation session and notify all the on-duty/on-call consultants:

Finally when you are done with the consultation, please tap on the red "X" button at the bottom of the page:

On iOS when you create your consultations, you will be asked if it's okay for us to access your camera and microphone, please tap on the "Allow" button. You would need to do this everytime unless you change your Safari settings, in order do this, please go to Settings -> Safari -> Camera/Microphone and change the setting to "Allow" instead of "Ask".

If the above prompt did not appear and your camera or microphone is not working, please make sure your browser has access to your camera and microphone from the Settings menu. (Settings -> Safari -> Camera/Microphone -> Allow)

On an Android:

Please obtain the pathways unique link from your organisations admin, open chrome and navigate to that url. Please then tap on the "three dots" icon as highlighted below:

Please then tap on the "Add to Home screen" button:

The pathway name should be automatically picked up, please tap on the "Add" button as highlighted below:

You should now have the pathway icon on your home screen:

If the above prompt did not appear and your camera or microphone is not working, please make sure your browser has access to your camera and microphone from the Settings menu. (Settings -> Apps -> Chrome/Browser -> Permissions -> Camera/Microphone -> turn on)
