Along with chest compressions, a publicly available defibrillator (also called an Automatic External
Defibrillator, or AED) can help save a life. These defibrillators are simple, safe, and are designed
to be used by anyone without prior training.
By mapping all publicly available defibrillators in our registry, we can show people if there is a
defibrillator nearby to a person in cardiac arrest - ensuring that each device does the most possible good.
If you own a defibrillator, or you have seen one that is not yet on the GoodSAM AED registry,
please register it on this page.
If you or your organisation have several defibrillators that you would like to make publicly available,
please contact our team via AMBULANCE-GoodSAM@health.nsw.gov.au and we can arrange this for you.
